Summary: Nanami may be little, but she is far from fragile. She is witty, sassy, and dangerous. She runs her own group of criminals and has been known to love anything and everything shiny, but she will not pay for any of it. She is a thief, and a good one at that. When some of her boys get captured by the police she has to make up her mind to either cancel the heist or find replacements. Just in time, her new neighbors move in and capture her attention with their raw talent. She decides the heist will continue, but how to get the boys to join? Blackmail of course.
Now just to clear this up. The boy's personalities might be a bit different from what they are like in real life, but I do not personally know them and this a FICTION story. Please take this into account as you read. Thank You.

Nanami groaned as she rolled out of her bed. She might not have felt the full impact of the car crash last night but she sure was feeling it now. Looking in the mirror she cringed at the purple bruises spotted on her shoulders, neck, and cheek. “Oh now that doesn’t look pretty.” Nanami turned around to face an already dressed Levi. She held out a cup of coffee and sat on Nanami’s bed. “I can show you how to cover those up you know.”
Nanami waved her off as she took the coffee and took a sip feeling the life coming back to her dead brain. It had taken too much to get the boys to agree to her terms last night.
They had fought back and the one named Jin had tried to manipulate her offer for hours before she had literally picked up the phone and dialed two of the three numbers needed for 911. Honestly the last thing she needed was the police looking into her background so she probably wouldn’t have actually called, but the two boys had believed she would and they had been able to come to an agreement of sorts.
Looking at the clock she nodded and sighed. One of the conditions was that the boys would not be able to come over during their practice and would stick to only learning the nasty habits of a thief, as Jin had so lovingly put it, in the evenings after dinner. Nanami had fought that decision but with her it was all about the details and Jin, had not thought that part through. She smirked to herself and Levi sighed. “What are you thinking now?”
“That I need to show these boys that you always have to think of all possibilities when making a contract.” Nanami set down her coffee and walked towards her bathroom to get ready. “You never know what to expect when you make a deal with a ‘nasty’ little thief like me.” She emphasized the word nasty and smiled brightly at Levi.
Levi laughed and shook her head. She almost felt sorry for the boys, but she had to admit that the next few months were going to be very entertaining. She decided to leave Nanami to her own devices and see just how much fun this could actually be.
The door swung open and Nanami waltzed into the room a smile tugging at her lips. Levi followed her a look of pure amusement on her face. She had not known what Mi had in mind when she had said she would teach them how to think of all possibilities but already it was proving to be interesting. The seven boys all stopped in the middle of their dance and looked at the two girls.
Namjoon seemed to be the first one to recover. “What the hell are you doing in our house?”
Nanami only laughed and slid down the wall right in front of them. “You said you would not come over and learn my ‘nasty habits’ at my house until after you were done with practice at your house.” She simply stated before looking up at Namjoon with the most innocent look she could muster. “You never said I couldn’t come over and get you to practice here, or even just watch you guys practice.” She turned and winked at Jungkook a smirk forming on her face as he turned bright pink. “Plus you guys aren’t bad to look at.” She looked Namjoon up and down and nodded her head.
Namjoon seemed stuck for a moment unable to think of what to say. “You are manipulating the contract.” Her attention shifted to the eldest now making his way toward her.
“Manipulating is such a harsh word don’t you think? I prefer something more along the lines of looking at it from a different angle.” She slowly stood back up and leaned against the mirrors the boys had placed around the small makeshift dance room. “I haven’t changed a thing that you stated last night.”
She watched as the muscles in Jin’s jaw tightened and his lips turned down into a frown. “Fine.” He said softly.
“What was that? I didn’t catch it.” Nanami was enjoying this more than she probably should have been.
Levi silently walked around the room gauging the reactions of the other members. She noticed how some of them looked ready to run to Jin’s aid while one in particular looked rather complacent with the whole situation. He was either sure that Jin could deal with the unruly Nanami on his own or he didn’t care what happened either way.
“Interesting.” She breathed softly. She had not noticed the boy much at first but his lack of emotions tugged at her curiosity. She was going to make a mental note to have Nanami let her train this boy herself.
“Fine.” Levi turned back to Jin. His voice was more forceful this time and Nanami only looked more pleased. She did love to ruffle people’s feathers. “You can watch us.” He lifted his hand to stop the bubbling responses of the boys behind him. “You can watch, but that is all. Do not talk to any of them or keep them distracted. We will not practice thievery at our home or until after we have had dinner and have made our way over to your house.”
“Is that all?” Levi snorted at Nanami’s response. She knew that there was something else Jin should have covered that he hadn’t and she was giving him one last shot to fix it before she used it to her advantage. She watched Jin as he paused in thought.
The seconds turned into minutes but still Jin had not responded. He was trying to thoroughly think through what they had agreed to and see if he had left any more openings for this girl to change to her own liking. “Yes, that is all.” As soon as the words left his mouth he regretted them. Nanami’s mouth turned up in a devilish smirk and he knew he must have forgotten something major. His head started to reel but he still couldn’t think of anything.
“I admit you are getting better at making deals, but you still need some practice.” She nodded her head and sat back down on the floor. “But anyways, we will discuss that later. As you were boys.”
The boys continued their practice under Nanami’s and Levi’s watchful gazes.
A week or so slowly slipped by and the boys had grown more accustomed to Nanami and her mind games. They were quickly learning to find a way to talk themselves out of situations and each had their own special job. Levi had told Nanami that she wanted to keep Yoongi for tech work and though she wouldn’t tell her why Nanami figured it couldn’t hurt. V and Hoseok had been put on watch duty, Jungkook and Jin would go inside to do the actual thieving part and Namjoon was the getaway driver. None of them had complained much about their assigned jobs and went along with what they were told.
Nanami stood back and watched the boys around her. Other than Namjoon, who would practice with Levi later, the other boys were silently working. She stealthily moved from one boy to the next but her eyes lingered on Jungkook. He practiced fighting in a ring with an old friend of Levi’s. The last week or so something had seemed off about him. He had tried to hide it but Nanami was not one to be easily fooled. She had watched as he would leave practice early and not end up back at his house until only hours before he started dance practice. He was also sporting new bruises and cuts that he would say he got from fighting with Lee but Nanami also knew that wasn’t true.
She had thought long and hard about what to do and had finally come to a conclusion. “We are going along with the plan tonight. You keep the boys distracted and if they start to ask too many questions put them back to work.” Levi nodded. Nanami was going to find out once and for all just what the little maknae was up to so late at night.
The shadows swallowed her black clade figure and she moved along the roofs following Jungkook. He never once looked up at the buildings but only behind himself, something Nanami took a note to correct him of later. He looked nervous and his eyes darted around hectically, his hands kneading into his overly large black shirt. “Oi! There you are! You’re late and the boss isn’t too happy.”
Nanami dived down behind the roof she was on and peaked over at the men talking to Jungkook. “Late? Boss?” Her eyebrow raised out of habit and she quietly followed them to an older looking building with a glass roof.
Nanami checked around for a moment fumbling to find a way into the building but opted for climbing down into an open window below. She slowly creeped through the building towards the loud booming voices. “You still haven’t gotten it?” It only took a second for the voice to ring in Nanami’s ears and her eyes grow as round as an owls. ‘Adam?’ She quickly moved into the rooms second story and looked down at her once coworker walking around a large wooden table with a knife in his hand. Her eyes darted around until they landed on the young black haired man she was seeking. He was pushed down onto his knees with his arms being pulled into a strange angle by Eric.
“You said you would help us get away from her!” His voice was weak yet forceful and Nanami felt like she had been hit in the gut. She may have forced them to help her but she would never do anything to physically harm those boys. She wondered first how he had gotten involved with Adam and then what Adam was doing in Korea.
Adam chuckled and pulled his knife up into view. “We agreed to take care of Nanami and Levi if you brought me the USB.” Nanami’s heart leapt. After all this time Adam really had started working with Ricky. There was only one person in this world who knew about it and who would do anything to get it. Nanami bit her lip and pulled a rope out of her bag.
“I have been looking for it but I can’t find it! I swear I have tried.” Jungkook sounded desperate as his voice cracked. Nanami knew he must have been working for them for a while and didn’t know what he had gotten himself into. She rolled her eyes making another note to explain to the little two that even though Nanami and Levi would never physically hurt them other thieves weren’t nearly as nice.
Nanami pulled the rope around a pillar and started to decorate it with a complex knot she had learned when she was young. She knew Adam was not a patient person and if he had deemed Jungkook useless then there was no telling what he would do. She started working even more quickly on the rope. Pushing her anger at the young one for doing something so stupid aside, she wasn’t going to just let him die here. Blackmail and a small heist was one thing, but she wasn’t going to watch his life get cut short.
Adam smirked and licked the blade in his hand before dropping down into a crouching position so he was right in front of Jungkook. “You know what I hate more than Nanami and Levi?”
Jungkook eyed the blade and swallowed hard. He had only wanted to free his hyungs from something that had happened because of him. Getting sucked into Nanami’s trap was all his fault and he had only felt the need to fix it. He had never expected that he would end up like this. Nanami may have been evil to a point and knew her way too well around an argument but she had never even raised a hand to any of them. He slowly shook his head as he wished he could take it all back. The day he had met Adam and he had started asking if Jungkook knew anyone by the name of Nanami, the day he begged Adam to take Nanami away so he and his hyungs could go back to their normal lives, the days he spent rummaging through Nanami’s things only to come back to see Adam empty handed. He wished they would all go away.
“Ah, no clue? Well the only thing I hate more than Nanami and Levi is a useless individual.” Jungkook squeezed his eyes shut waiting for the feeling of the blade cutting into him… but it never came. There was a rush of wind and the sound of a high pitched oomph but he wasn’t hurt at all. He opened his eyes and was shocked to see a black clad Nanami standing there Adam’s arm in her one hand and a rope in the other.
“Didn’t your mother ever tell you it’s not nice to pick on those younger than you Adam?” Nanami clicked her tongue and shook her head. Of all the people to save him it had to be her. Jungkook’s breath hitched and he tried to hold back his own tears. “Oh zip it Kookie. You can cry when we get out of her.” She turned her head only slightly away from Adam and smiled at him.
“Nanami.” Adam smiled and pulled his arm away. “Didn’t expect to see you here.”
She shrugged. “Well you hire a kid to do a job you should have done yourself and you get found out more quickly. If you wouldn’t have beat him I wouldn’t have been the wiser.”
“Ah protective of this group this time huh? Is it because you had to blackmail them to be your puppets?” He slowly walked back away from her. “You never stood up for us like this when you called the police.”
Nanami shrugged again. “They are better than you ever were?”
His brows furrowed. “How so?”
A smirk creeped up her face and she cocked her head to the side. “Well for one they are so much more attractive than you. Just one of them could seduce me with one finger when you couldn’t with your whole body.” She laughed a bit as his face contorted into an angry scowl. “Oo, I hit a nerve there?” Jungkook gapped at her wondering how she could act so indifferent to the men all standing around with weapons and the large knife in the hand of the man she was provoking. “They are a lot more original than you too. I mean you proceeded to chain me up… me… the one who picks locks for a living, and leave me unattended while you ran off to safety before big bad Ricky got there. Can’t say that was the first time that has happened.” Jungkook momentarily wondered who Ricky was but figured it was a bad time to ask. “At least this one here” She ruffled his hair after pulling him free of Eric. “Came up with something I didn’t quite see coming. So he gets an A for effort, even though it failed.” She looked at him and made a pouty face. “We will need to talk about this later by the way.”
By this time Jungkook swore he could see smoke coming out of Adam’s ears and Nanami turned back to face him. “I mean seriously? You lost round one and you thought you would do better round two? Do you not know me at all? I was the one that taught you what you know after all.”
Nanami turned and whispered into Jungkook’s ear. “Be ready to make a run for it sweetie.” She then turned his face towards her own and planted a kiss on his lips.
Jungkook’s eyes widened at the sudden action and he only looked at her confused when she pulled away smirking and suddenly spun out of the way. Adam had brought the knife down right where she had been standing a moment before. ‘She is provoking him!’ is mind screamed at him. ‘He has a knife and she wants him to attack her!’ Jungkook couldn’t wrap his mind around what was going on and he stood frozen until Nanami pranced around him and nudged him. “You should either get ready to fight or assume the fetal position.” He looked around and realized the other men were slowly making their way towards himself and Nanami. He wondered how he had gotten into this mess then kicked himself when he remembered it was his own damn fault.
Nanami giggled creepily as she dodged Adam’s furious attacks. “Oo you missed there sunshine.” She would flip and kick him in the chest as if using him to push her off for a string of back flips before landing and yelling out “10 points!” Jungkook wasn’t sure if he should be impressed or worried that she granted herself points for every hit like she was playing a video game. “Come on Kookie show me what you are made of!” She smiled at him before turning her attention back to Adam. He pushed his nerves aside and took up the fight himself. He for once was glad that he had taken classes when he was younger and had someone like Lee to help fine tune his fighting skills.
Maybe ten minutes had passed and Nanami screamed loudly as she kicked Adam and sent him flying into the wooden table he had been circling earlier. With a satisfied humph she ran over and grabbed Jungkooks hand. “Time to go Kookie!” She pulled him along as they made their way out of the building. He was already exhausted and wondered where Nanami got the energy from. He grasped her hand tightly and tried his best to keep up.
They were going well and looked like they were going to escape. If only he had be paying more attention to what was in front of them and less to the smile she shot at him it wouldn’t have happened. It only took seconds but it seemed to move in slow motion for Jungkook. The man jumped out from behind the building thrusting his knife in his direction. There was no way he could dodge it, but again Nanami was there to stop it from hitting him. Only this time… she didn’t grab his hand in time and she took the knife to the gut. With a loud grunt she had kicked the man and pulled the knife out.
“Damn that hurt.” She breathed before stabbing the man with the knife he had gotten her with. With a smile towards Jungkook she took off again with him in tow. She ran as if nothing had happened and Jungkook hopped that the cut had only looked worse than it was.
The door to the living room flew open and in an instant all seven boys and a worried Levi jumped to their feet. Nanami smiled and pulled Jungkook through the door way a look of triumph on her face. “Haha, found him!” The look of relief that passed over their faces was only momentary. Nanami swayed a bit and looked down at the blood dripping on the floor, “Damn that hurts.” She breathed before she fell limp in Jungkook’s arms.
Okay Okay, That is probably the longest chapter I have come out with yet. Do you guys mind it being longer like this or do you prefer I chop it up into shorter chapters?
