It seems as if Matt Forte's time with the Chicago Bears has come to an end.
"Despite my wishes, my days as a member of the Chicago Bears have sadly come to an end," Forte said in an Instagram post. "I was informed earlier this week from the GM that they will not be attempting to re-sign me in free agency."
Forte will end his tenure as the second most productive running back in Chicago Bears history.
The Bears later confirmed Forte's announcement on Twitter, saying they told the running back that they would not re-sign him. "Matt is one of the all-time great Bears and did an excellent job for us on and off the field last season. He was a tremendous teammate. We thank him for his professionalism and wish him the very best as he continues his career."
Matt is 30 years old, and has been extremely productive throughout his NFL career. While it's hard to see many teams offer long term deals to a 30 year old running back, I am sure that teams will make solid offers for his services.

Should the Bears have re-signed Matt Forte?

What teams do you think will make an offer for his services?

He will be sorely missed. I think the Jaguars or titans Titans could be good landing spots with their large amounts of cap space and relative dearth of talent in the backfield.
@KyleBerke I agree. The Titans could be a good fit for him
