"Yongguk." I try to speak in as kind a tone as possible. I realize he doesn't want this to end but it has to.

"I know." He slowly removes his arms. "Thank you. I don't think you can understand how much that meant to me."

"I'm glad I could help you." I agree with him, I don't think I'd ever be able to understand the feeling he has. I've never been that empty, so I could never know what it would be like to be that overwhelmed by an emotion.

As we get to Youngjae’s door, some other person is keeping watch. Oh that's right, Daehyun is still locked up.

Yongguk leans on the wall next to the man.

I knock on the hard metal door, which is kind of difficult because it really hurts.

"Who is it? I'm busy."

"Would you like me to come back later?" The sound is slightly muffled because of the thick door so we're both practically shouting.

Almost immediately the door is unlocked, opened, and I find myself being clung to.

"Seunghye, you came back! I'm so relieved!"

"Yes, I came back to talk to you."

He gives me one more squeeze before letting go and looking at me. "Go and sit down, I'll be right in okay?"

I nod and walk in. He shuts the door behind me.

He points at the man by the door. "You, leave. And Yongguk, come here." This is a different tone than usual. Not the fake one, but it's not pleasant either. He's genuinely unhappy.

"What'd you do to her?"

"What are you talking about? I didn't 'do' anything to her." He replies, getting a bit defensive.

"I smell you on her. She spent almost 3 days with you before and hardly smelled like you. Not even half a day in your room and now she reeks of you. So answer me; what did you do to her?"

"What do you think I did! Huh!" He's not going to be pushed around. Whether he's the boss or not; it's not happening.

Youngjae steps toward him. "I don't know! That's why I'm asking! Would you prefer I let my imagination run wild and assume the worst! You could just tell me and we'd move on from there!"

At this point Yongguk just wants to piss him off. It's what he gets for taking me from him. "Let's just say it's nothing you need to know and it's something you wouldn't understand." he puts his hand on Youngjae's forehead and shoves him back slightly. "Little boy." Screw that, he's not going to be intimidated by a kid.

Just like before with Daehyun, Youngjae is about to lose control. "Did you have sex with her! Did you honestly do that to her!"

He shrugs. "Maybe I did, maybe I didn't. But you know what? What I do in my bedroom is my business, so I don't have to tell you shit."

He pokes a finger in Yongguk's chest and speaks in a tone that shows he's obviously trying to restrain himself. "You disgust me. She wouldn't willingly do that. Not with you."

He smacks Youngjae's hand out of the way and grabs his collar pulling him close. "Are you saying I forced myself on her! Cause I sure as hell did not do that!"

"Even if that's the truth, you won’t tell me that you didn't have sex with her! Just tell me what happened!" His eyes are wide and he's biting his lip. He's trying his best not to do something he'd regret.

He gets right in Youngjae’s face. "Fuck. You. You're a spoiled fucking brat who throws little bitch fits when you don't get your way. You cry when something upsets you and try to make everyone else solve your problems. So fuck you and get over yourself."

That's it. He can't hold back much longer. Yongguk is like family, but family doesn't say things like that, at least not in this family. "She is mine! She cares about me and not you!"

Yongguk smirks and let's go of his shirt.

"What's so funny?"

"This little tantrum. It's just comical watching you get this pissed off. Not to mention your attempt to act tough."

"Yeah. Not to mention how blind you are."

"Excuse me?"

His smirk has turned into a smug grin. "Want to know what we did when we went to my room? You want to know all the little details?"

Youngjae just stares at him, his lip nearly about to bleed from him biting it.

His grin fades to an irritated expression. "She cried. She cried for a long time. Because you scared her, because she cared about you and you betrayed that. She was scared; thinking that you were going to physically hurt her."

He's speechless.

"Want to know why she smells like me? She smells like me because I held her while she cried, I comforted her. And guess what. Even after all you did, she still came back to you. Shut the hell up and be grateful."

Youngjae is at a loss. How could he be so stupid? "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have assumed you did that. But when you wouldn't tell me I-"

"So you don't trust her? You say she cares about you and not me, but you don't trust her to not do something with another guy? Not to mention the fact of how long we've known eachother and you don't even trust me."

"I do trust you. I'm sorry, I let jealousy get the better of me."

"You know, when she said she didn't care about you anymore, it would have been so easy for me to come in and steal her from you. But no, I stood up for you. I said you were upset, but you truly cared so much for her."

Youngjae feels two inches tall. He feels terrible about what he said; what he said to the only person he has that he considers family. He can't even look him in the eye. "I'm sorry Yongguk. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. I shouldn't let someone stir me up so much that I accuse my brother of something so terrible."

They've considered themselves close, but he's never actually called him that. Is this what it's like to have a stupid little brother who screws up and they end up fighting? Must be, cause he can't hate him. If it were anyone else it probably would've come to blows by now.

"I'm your brother now?"

"You've felt like my brother for a long time. You look out for me and help me. I know I can rely on you if I need help with something and I would always help you if you needed it."

"Then respect your older brother, got it? I hate that I can't stay mad at you!" Yongguk pulls him into a hug. There's few people that Yongguk has ever felt close to. And only one he'd ever consider a brother. Probably because he's never had a positive person who cared for him in his life to feel any affection toward.

Youngjae hugs him back. "I'm glad you can't. You're the only family I have and I don't want to lose my only family over something so ridiculous. Thank you for helping Seunghye and thank you for saying good things about me. You're a better man than I could ever hope to be."

"Alright, alright. Go on, and talk to her. Oh and by the way, good job."

"For what?"

"You didn't cry and you stood up for yourself. Even if it was misguided, you manned up and were ready to protect the person you care about. So good job. You're growing up."

"Oh, I'm glad I'm growing up." He flashes a smile and walks into his room.

As the door shuts Yongguk sits down on the floor against the wall. He's sighs and hangs head.

His heart and head are conflicted in so many ways. How has he gone from a cold, rough person to someone whose feelings are sending him in many different directions? This must be what it's like when people say they're on an emotional roller coaster.

my heart has been torn out of my chest and put back in so many times while reading this fabric!😭😭😭😭
