You have to start somewhere.
Who knew a kiss could play such a huge role in the bullying community. As we all know, bullying takes place far too often. From cyber bullying to bullying in the hallways of your local school -- it happens every single day. According to DoSomething.org, 'Over 3.2 million students are victims of bullying each year' and as far as cyber bullying, '88 percent of teens witness cyberbullying everyday' -- as told by the Pew Research Center.
Leave it up to your favorite makeup brand, Tarte Cosmetics and an organization that happens to be anti-bullying known as ByStanderRevolution to come together and create awareness. Of course since Tarte is involved, they are creating awareness with kisses via the #KissandMakeupCampaign. Don't worry, you don't have to go around kissing random people. It's simple. All you have to do is send a positive message to someone special, tag them in the post and upload an image of the back of your hand with a lipstick print. Make sure you include both Tarte and BSR's social media [@tartecosmetics and @bystanderrevolution] handles and of course, hashtag #AntiCyberbullying.
Let's put an end to bullying one kiss at a time.
Are you down?
