The best DIY project is when you can take something that you already have and repurpose it into something that you need — take an old Tic Tac container and repurpose it into a bobby pin holder. This DIY tutorial comes from the creative people at Lovely Indeed.
For this project, you will need:
-- Tic Tac container (eat all of the Tic Tacs out of it, of course)
-- Gold spray paint
-- Gold craft paint
-- Wooden dowel or a pencil
-- Clear sealant (optional)
You can find most of these items at a craft store.
Remove all of the stickers from the outside of the Tic Tac container. Also, separate the lid from the rest of the container.
Paint the container
Use the gold spray paint to cover the lid of the container in gold paint. Make sure to do this in a well-ventilated area or outside. Then, use a wooden dowel or pencil to dot gold paint on the clear part of the container. If you want, you can seal the paint on the container with a coat of clear sealant. Let all of the paint completely dry.
Fill with bobby pins and enjoy!
