The fall from grace by Ronda Rousey was pretty hard for her and her fans to handle.
Today, we got details on just how hard the recent loss hit Ronda, as Ronda Rousey considered suicide after her loss to Holly Holm.
Rousey, 29, appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday and spoke openly about her loss at UFC 193 in Melbourne, Australia.
"Honestly, my thought in the medical room, I was sitting in the corner and was like, 'What am I anymore if I'm not this?'" Rousey said. "Literally sitting there thinking about killing myself. In that exact second, I'm like, 'I'm nothing. What do I do anymore? No one gives a s--- about me anymore without this.'"
In today's culture with the power of the internet, Rousey knew the world was going to attack her character after this loss. Thankfully, Ronda was able to find strength in her boyfriend, family and friends to work through these dark times.
