Here's a creative way of getting your calves big and strong with just dumbbells!
1) Place a block/plate on the ground in front of where you'll be sitting.
2) Sit at a flat bench and place the dumbbell on your thigh, around 3 inches from the knee.
3) Place the ball of your feet on the block. Raise your toe as far as possible. Hold the contraction for a second and slowly return to the starting position.
