Decorate your living space with these classy marble coasters that are incredibly easy to make. This DIY tutorial comes from the creative people at Homey Oh My!
For this project, you will need:
-- Black and white clay
-- Rolling pin
-- Parchment paper
-- Lid of a hexagon box (you can find this at JoAnn's, according to the tutorial)
-- X-Acto knife
-- Adhesive felt
You can find these items at a craft store.
Mix the clay
Take the black and white clay and mix it together to create a marbled look. Then, use the rolling pin to roll out the clay into a flat piece.
Cut the coasters into shape
Use the X-Acto knife and the hexagon lid to trace around the coaster to make it into a hexagon shape. Then, put all of the coasters on a piece of parchment paper and bake in the oven at 275 degrees Fahrenheit for about 25 minutes. Allow the coasters to cool completely.
Trace around the coasters on the adhesive felt and cut it out. Then, apply the adhesives to the back of the coasters.
Place around your living space and enjoy!
