Lee Hyun-woo began his career as a child actor, building up his resume by playing roles in a number of large-scale productions, such as The Legend, King Sejong the Great, The Return of Iljimae, and Queen Seondeok. After his profile rose as the cute and loyal Chan-doo in Master of Study,[1][2] Lee took to the stage for the 2010 musical production of Footloose, where he played the leading role of Ren, played by Kevin Bacon in the original movie.[3] In 2011 he and K-pop singer Yoon Doo-joon from B2ST began hosting music program Music on Top on cable channel jTBC.[4] He was then featured in IU's music video for track "You and I."[5] Lee further expanded his acting scope in historical drama Gyebaek, revenge thriller Man from the Equator,[6][7] and made a guest appearance in medical drama Brain.[8] In 2012, Lee was cast as the second male lead in To The Beautiful You, the Korean television adaptation of Japanese manga Hana-Kimi, with his role based on the character Shuichi Nakatsu.[9][10] He and co-star Hwang Kwanghee were later designated as the new hosts of live music show The Music Trend (more popularly known as Inkigayo).[11] Filmography [edit] Television drama [edit] Year Title Role Network Notes 2004 Oolla Boolla Blue-jjang KBS 2005 Spring Day KBS 2006 Hwarang Fighter Maru Seo Da-ham KBS 2007 The Legend young Cheoro MBC 2007 Lobbyist young Harry SBS 2008 King Sejong the Great Prince Choong-nyeong KBS 2008 Things We Do That We Know We Will Regret KBS Episode 4: On a Night Sparkling with Stars 2009 The Return of Iljimae Cha Dol-yi MBC 2009 Queen Seondeok young Kim Yushin MBC 2009 What's for Dinner?
