DIY: Sleepy-Time Bath Bombs
That feeling of restlessness, coupled with exhaustion, can be down right debilitating. Especially if you're prone to insomnia and anxiety at bed time. But this can also occur when you're traveling, switching time zones, or in a new place. At its simplest, it could be just stress. But that doesn't mean you have to live with it forever. You can do something about it.
Do-it-yourself recipes abound online. I've been paging through a ton. But I decided to share this chamomile how-to (that I found via Hello Glow). Stephanie Gerber started the blog, which is now a popular destination site for all things health and beauty.

What you need:

1 cup citric acid
1 cup baking soda
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup light oil such as sweet almond or sunflower
25 drops of chamomile essential oil
2-3 chamomile tea bags
Molds – virtually any shape will do

Get started:

Combine baking soda, citric acid, cornstarch and chamomile (from tea bags). Stir to combine and break up any clumps. Separately, measure your oil in a measuring cup, adding essential oil. Pour oil mixture into dry ingredients and stir until you get a crumbly consistency.
Use your hands to compress the ingredients and press into a mold. Or you can also use an ice cream scoop to scoop the mixture onto a baking sheet. Let the bath bombs sit in a cool, dry place overnight. Then carefully remove from mold.
To use, simply drop into your bath of hot water. It will fizz and the aroma will be a source of bliss.
Unused bath bombs can be stored in an airtight container for about six months.
