I'm so freaking excited that Spring is just around the corner and I'm even more excited for cute and adorable DIY projects to decorate my living space, like this neon-dipped flower pots. This DIY tutorial comes from the creative people at Hello Bee.
For this project, you will need:
-- Terracotta pots
-- Painter's tape
-- Foam brushes
-- White acrylic paint
-- Neon acrylic paint
-- Clear sealant spray (optional)
You can find all of these items at a craft store.
Paint on the neon colors
This DIY project is incredibly easy. Take some painter's tape and wrap it around the middle of the terracotta pot. Then, paint a coat of white acrylic paint on the pot to serve as a primer. Let that paint dry. Then, paint on the neon color. You may need to do a couple of coats to really make the colors pop. Let that paint dry completely. Remove the painter's tape. If you want to seal the colors, spray a layer of clear sealant spray on the pots and let that dry.
Fill these cute and vibrant pots with your favorite plants and enjoy!
