Joyful Butterfly Abs Routine
Acutally, I was being sarcastic. Is there an ab exercise out there that actually is a joy to do?! Seriously?! I read a cool quote yesterday before I did my own workout. It said, "Train outside your comfort zone." And there was a photo of a guy that looked like he was cut from marble. Incredible.
So, if you think that ab exercises are hard, tortuous and blood-boiling--you're correct! Now get to it!
Yesterday I shared with you a 3-Minute Ab Routine (while standing). This one allows you to be on the floor, which I found on PopSugar by Susi May.

What to do:

1. Lie on your back with your knees open and the soles of your feet together (in a butterfly position). Lengthen your arms overhead so they are resting on the floor.
2. Exhale and bring your hands and knees toward each other performing a full-body crunch. Your shoulder blades should be off the mat as you perform a small reverse crunch lifting your pelvis a bit off the mat. Hold this position for a moment and really feel your abs squeezing.
3. Slowly lower your arms and feet back to starting position to complete one rep. Focus on your low back staying in contact with the mat as you lower your feet.
4. Do 15 reps to complete a set. Do two to three sets.
