cooking with T.O.P!
hey guys!!! so I was obviously really bored! but t.o.p and I would like to show you guys how to make.... tortillas?
T.O.P loves all kinds of food so don't judge us! haha ok so here are the easy steps for making tortillas!
I usually use masa from masarica brand but here in Korea I should be glad I found any at all! so I'm using this brand which is essentially the same.
make sure to watch your hands! we will be using them a lot! also use warm water when mixing the masa with water.
easy steps! mix masa with warm water. Add salt to taste make balls to pre prep- every country uses different sizes.(example) Guatemalan's make small and fat tortillas while Costa Rican's makes them a little bigger and of medium with. so it all depends what you like /want. use wax sheet to flatten the dough if you don't have that use a plastic bag! clean it and fold it. flatten the tortilla with a plate if easier for you. ( we usually make them with hands) but some people come out with not so round tortillas when made by hand.
do not oil the pan you are going to use! heat the pan and simply place the torilla.
hmmmm torillas ok we are ready!
disclaimer: we are not professionals but have been making these for years. everyone has a different way of making them. don't judge me. lol
it's ready! yey ! one down.. 10 to go. haha usually we make many when making tortillas.
smells good!!
this is how we eat them at my house! you can pair tortilla with anything! we love them with sour cream, with eggs!! and beans, on our soup and well the possibilities are endless! I hope you guys enjoyed =) I had more fun than usual at cooking. who would like to see more cooking with t.o.p ? =D
