Technically, this is called The Spirit of Grisogono. But it would clearly make for an astounding engagement ring, would it not?!?!
So named after a Swiss jeweler , De Grisogono, the old Moghul-cut black diamond was set on a white gold ring mounting, studded with 702 white round brilliant-cut diamonds, with a total weight of 36.69 carats. It is the worlds largest black diamond ever and the fifth largest diamond the world has seen.
Who would not dare wear this fabulous piece of historical jewelry?!
While it's not for sale, no one seems to know who owns the infamous ring. Sources online can point to history of sales, but cannot say definitively, who has possession of it.
