It's more than just a trend.

I've never been one into the hair shaming because at the end of the day I've tried it all from wigs to hair dyes to relaxed hair and of course, natural. The great thing about natural hair is that you're embracing the hair you were blessed with.
Although, I enjoy switching things up every now and then, it doesn't mean that I don't appreciate my natural hair at the end of the day. When it comes to being natural, there are several thoughts that will cross your mind on a daily basis -- both positive and negative. If you've natural or if you've ever been natural then one or more of these thoughts have probably crossed your mind on an occasion. Keep scrolling to see the five thoughts below.

Will my hair tangle if I do two strand twists without detangling?

Detangling is a long and slow process nobody enjoys, but we all know the struggle that comes with accomplishing a head of two strands when you didn't detangle ahead of time.

I can't deal anymore, I'm buying a wig.

Wigs are literally a girls best friend. If you're having a bad hair day or just want to switch things up, you can easily throw one on and not have to deal with your hair with a few days.

Geez. This shrinkage is real. I need to hit the Dominican's up.

Shrinkage will really have a woman in her feelings. A good stretch or a good blowout [every once in awhile] will get you right and have your hair blowing in the wind in no time.

Maybe I should just go back to getting relaxers.

Nothing worth having comes easy and when it comes to having natural hair, the journey is definitely no walk in the park -- but it's so worth it.

Put the scissors down [insert your name here].

Frustration with your hair can cause you to want to chop it all off, but hang in there.

Natural hair is beautiful.

Embrace it and love it.
Have you ever thought any of these thoughts before?
Gosh were you i n my thoughts. I did go natural and lm now trying to grow it. What a sore business. I can't believe the torture of it all. Team natural is tough.
Im going through this now but I seemed to have found what the good hairstyles for my hair but sometimes I just want to say f it and put weave in it but I never do.
All of them all the time. Since worst is trying to flat iron it and make it have a smooth feeling or trying to make the puff even. The middle and back of my head just doesn't work with me. It's tighter curls than the front.
it's definitely tough @grapetoes2000, but so worth the journey :)
I think we all go through that phase, but youtube definitely helps! there are so many amazing natural hair youtubers out there @JasmineWilliams
