I love oranges. The only down part about eating them is the peeling process, but hey that comes with the territory.
I guess the good people at Whole Foods heard the cries of lazy people around the globe, as they started selling pre-peeled oranges for 6 dollars a pop.
Are these guys serious?
The argument people are giving in favor of the items are that the pre-peeled items are a blessing for people who cannot peel an orange.
The retailer famous for its high prices and for actually ripping people off released a statement:
"A lot of our customers love the convenience of our cut produce offerings, but this was a simple case where a handful of stores experimented with a seasonal product spotlight that wasn't fully thought through. We're glad some customers pointed it out so we could take a closer look."
While there people that may not be able to eat an orange, many of those people have assistance to help them with items like this.
I love Whole Foods, but really guys?
This kind of reminds me of their $6 asparagus water. Just like... not really thought through. I guess if you have arthritis pains or some other disability something like this might be helpful, but for $6 I don't think those are the people whole foods had in mind
This- No. Just. No Even Loki disapproves this monstrosity
If there are no seeds then i'm willing to pay!
A grocery store near me sells already peeled hard boiled eggs. 6 eggs for $7
