Not sure why you'd need a lemon to survive three months after being picked from a grove, but you never know.
If you didn't know, Food.com has an entire section of food hacks, tips and tricks. It's kind of scary and awesome just how much info they have on the site.
In the meantime, they claim that by storing lemons in a bowl of water, in the fridge, they will keep their flavor and freshness for up to three months!
While I get that lemons don't grow everywhere and they can be rather expensive, They're dirt cheap here in Los Angeles because this is citrus country, baby! Not only that, but my neighbors have a magnificent lemon tree where I get my lemons from!
This is for all my Vinglers that don't have the luxury of access to free lemons year-round like I have. #sorrynotsorry hahaha
