Finally reuniting as five again, Big Bang announced that it will be holding a six-dome concert tour in Japan.
On June 1, Big Bang announced that for the first time ever for a foreign singer, Big Bang will be holding a six-dome concert tour in Japan. The announcement also came through at the G-Dragon 2013 World Tour – One of a Kind ~ In Japan Dome Special, where all five members greeted 40,000 fans at G-Dragon’s Nagoya Dome concert.
From November 16, 2013 to January 12, 2014, Big Bang will be holding concerts in Seibu Dome, Osaka Kyocera Dome, Fukuoka Dome, Nagoya Dome, Tokyo Dome, and Sapporo Dome.
With 15 concerts in six cities, the 6-dome tour is expected to gather up to 721,000 people and is a feat never before made by a foreign artist.
“As I did my solo concerts, I told fans, ‘This time I’m here alone, but next time, I’ll come with the Big Bang members,’” said G-Dragon at the June 1 concert. “I’m glad that I can keep my promise. We will show a more matured Big Bang at the end of this year.”
Daesung also stated, “We want to thank fans for their support and love, making it possible for a dome tour this year. It’s been a memorable year for me, as I’m personally going to difference places for my own solo tour.”
“A six-dome tour, I really can’t believe it,” said Seungri. “I′m very happy, but I’m already getting worried to how I’ll make all the fans who will fill these large stadiums happy. I’m already looking forward to winter.”
Meanwhile, G-Dragon completed his first solo tour in Japan on June 2. Daesung is also currently holding his D-Lite D’scover Tour 2013 in Japan ~ DLive~. He will be heading to Yokohama Arena on June 18.
