As you know... Most of you know at least. I recieved a kidney transplant that saved my life in June of 2015 and I have been waiting for at least 8 years. It's been rough and still rough although I have a transplant. Support is one of the best things you can have.. And I am lucky to have my Vingle family, my partner, my self proclaimed family and my kin.
My photos below celebrate them
Anyway, March 10 th is special because it's World kidney day. When people actually get into it and talk about kidney disease. Not all kidney diseases are the same. I have a rare form that is found in every 1.5 million people. Yup, as rare as a unicorn. For this world kidney day I am going to do something different. I'm actually going to not be too shy about it and let people ask me question. No matter what it is. My whole MO was pretty much shut down mode but for awareness I will do it.
Still have my tons of medication but that keeps me alive and I am happy about it.
Thank you Lydia
