For this week's Throwback Thursday Hairstyle I wanted to jump into the mid 1960s hairstyle trend - beehive look. The beehive was made popular by school girls and it still a favorite choice for formal events. It actually take some styling efforts so this might explain why some hollywood celeb hire top-notch hairstylist to get it right! How to achieve this style? All you really need to do is use the backcombing technique on your back and front hair section. The crown area should be pulled back and pin to place.
Below are some of my favorite variations.

Barbra Streisand sporting a quintessential beehive.

Ciara channels's voluminous messy beehive blowout.

Bridget Bardot's semi beehive hair.

Model wearing an edgy beehive bun! Love the pop of pink!

Compared to the past, the beehive definitely toned down a bit! Above are some modern styling ideas I like. Would you ever try this look?
@hikaymm hah! I thought the same so I only wore the beehive hair once in my life! It was during Halloween of 2008 when I was dressed up as Audrey Hepburn. Anyways, I wouldn't mind doing a semi-beehive! It actually looks cute!
Someday I will try the semi-behive!!! I've always wanted to try one like Bridget Bardot's but dumb as it is, I think I'd feel totally silly walking around with it haha
omg i ♡ this!
looks like ratatouille
@HairConfetti if I have long hair on black out so I try alot of different styles because hey it's hair if I don't like it it will grow back plus there are but the pixie styles look good on me I let my hair grow to about shoulder length but then I get bored and chop it all off again
