Que tal makeup lovers! I was chatting with my chica @jordanhamilton about doing a review on some elf products that I own. If you haven't heard of elf it's a makeup brand that makes affordable makeup products such as brushes, primer, eye shadow, mascara, facial cleaners and more! You can find elf pretty much everywhere (Walmart and Target). I have very sensitive skin and some brushes I bought in the past broke me out. I brought brushes from sephora and ultra and did not have a good experience, so I was just using sponges for a while. Finally, I was like I want step it up with my makeup a bit after seeing my bestie's makeup after I bought her an urban decay brush set.
This is golden! First this brush is only 3 bucks. This brush is soft yet slightly firm enough to get the blending finished. After applying my makeup I was praising GOD! MY MAKEUP WAS FLAWLESS HONEY! GO GET URS WHILE YOU CAN!
I WAS HAPPY TO SEE THAT MY FACE DID NOT BREAK OUT!
Here someone is comparing an elf brush to other name brand brushes.
In this review she does say that she can see hairs sticking out, but I didn't experience that.
I did get the blending brush for eyeshadow. I had the $1.00 elf brush for blending eyeshadow and decided to upgrade. I like both, but the studio brushes are much better than the other ones (white handle). All studio brushes I have seen are $3.00 where I live and all the white handle brushes are $1.00.
I also brought this elf concealer and C brush. I'm in love with these two as well. I have small lids so sometimes I use the concealer brush to apply eyeshadow to my lids.
I love this eye cream. I apply this after I wash my face. Honestly, I use it where ever I have dark discoloration. It feels good and is very nourishing. This was $6.00 at Target.
