No planning, last-minute, go with the flow, and budget-friendly. That's the type of low-maintenance date I'm talking about. I don't know about everyone but every moment is I spend with my S.O. is a date. Even though we're married, we still consider ourselves dating because we're still getting to know each other. There's really no need to a reserve fancy restaurants or prepare way ahead of time for that perfect candlelight dinner because...
1) You can go on a car cruising date.
A 30 minute drive to anywhere can really spruce up great discussions. We love it. It helps us explore our neighborhood and find new spots we can go tour around later.
2) You can have a last-minute picnic date.
This is perfect for the weekend if you live near a park. Grab a blanket from home and whatever food you have in the fridge and you're good to go. You can also grab your camera or phone and take cute pictures.
3) You can go on a random biking date.
Our work office is in opposite direction but on the weekends we like to rent a bike and go to places.
4) You can go on a basketball date.
We've been on a basketball date, tennis date and soccer date. It's up to your preference. I really love this idea and I think it's fun to see his competitive side.
5) You can totally have a sunset date anywhere.
Find a sweet location with a good view and watch the sunset together. You can do this anytime you're out strolling with your S.O. What's your favorite low-maintenance outdoor date idea? Share with me below!
