The Division Breaks Ubisoft's Sales Records
In the first 24 hours of its release, Tom Clancy's The Division has broken Ubisoft's sales records. They announced this on their blog yesterday and the CEO of Ubisoft, Yves Guillemot, said:
The launch of The Division is a tremendous achievement for Ubisoft, and demonstrates our unrivaled capacity to create fantastic new game brands and transform them into entertainment blockbusters, this is a momentous day for Ubisoft, but more importantly it marks the start of millions of players’ enduring engagement in The Division’s game world, which we are confident they will love.
I finally opened my copy late last night but since the servers were down for maintenance, I hadn't had a chance to actually play the game. For those of you who have, are you enjoying it so far? I've heard mixed things but I think I'll have fun playing this game either way.
Even though they have a timed exclusivity deal with Xbox One, Ubisoft outlined their downloadable content that'll be coming out for the game over the course of the next year. You can check that video out above.
Hopefully, I'll see you guys in the streets of virtual Manhattan as soon as I get some time to play the game!
