If you've played Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee then you're probably nearing your thirties. I only say that because this game is so old and so unknown that only really old dummies like myself know what it is and enjoyed it.
Sure, I was a kid when I first tried to play it but I'm still really excited about this news. I love that this series is coming back into the spotlight after New N' Tasty was released a couple months ago (or was it last year?).
Listen, I can't really remember because I'm an old butthole who can't remember all the games I've played. But either, way, I remember being absolutely terrified at the character designs of this game and it seems like Oddworld: Soulstorm will follow that trend of things that I liked in the past that are coming back in the present.
And you know, sure this game sounds like it'll have a lot to say about things that are going on in the world. But I think one of the more interesting things about this news is how all of us old dumb dumbs are excited about old things becoming new again.
I don't know what it is but I wish it wasn't so totally awesome every time something old made itself new again. It makes me confused at what I actually like. I mean, do I like new things or old-new things or things that are new that used to be old? Does this make sense? At all?
