Growing up, I had that one friend who had two different gaming PCs in his bedroom. So, whenever we hung out he'd play something and let me play something else I wouldn't have a chance to otherwise. And one of the games that he forced me to play was System Shock.
But to be completely honest with you, I don't really have too many memories of this game (mostly because I was playing Deus Ex at the same time and I absolutely loved that) but that doesn't mean I'm any less excited for the remastered edition that's being worked on by Night Dive Studios.
And after watching the trailer, it looks like it got a much needed facelift. I usually feel like graphics don't matter when it comes to video games but with some of the older titles that work within a 3D space, it's hard to get into them because those games don't really age too well.
And since I don't really have too many memories of this game and I don't really know what it's about, I'm excited for the release of it so I can experience it fresh. The only thing I'd be worried about is if they change little story things just so returning players have something fresh to play.
Either way, though, I can't wait until more news about this remaster drops. I'm definitely excited for it.
