Make March Better: Update 3/16
Success: I would like to announce that so far I have lost 3 pounds! I know it could be water weight, but it's nice to see the scale finally move down and not up. I have the same weight for months -- like, exactly the same weight.
Fitness: But I am a few pounds lighter. I have been going to the gym on a daily basis and I am making sure to get in cardio at least three times a week.
Diet: I have tweaked my diet and I am following IIFYM, which has been working GREAT for me. I am more alert, energized, and it feels like I am STUFFING MY FACE, but I am losing weight.

That's how you know you're doing something right: you get to eat more, and you're leaning out.

Struggle: This isn't a struggle per-say, but since I am focused on building muscle, I have increased my protein intake. I am also making sure that protein takes up about 40% of my total macros (protein, fat, carbohydrates). And since I am vegetarian (and I don't use protein powders), I find myself having to eat quite a bit of egg whites to get my adequate protein in.

Congratulations @alywoah! I hope to see some sort of change in my weight...I've been at 224 for almost 3 weeks. I didn't even fluctuate during my period, which I guess is a good thing(?). I think three pounds is something to celebrate...every step in the right direction, right?

I did notice last night that I've got some solid muscles up under all my blubber! lol

@annamolly it's definitely a tiny step in the right direction! Muscle is very good!!! If your weight is the same and you're gaining muscle, you've probably also some fat!
