Give your living space a much-needed Spring makeover with this DIY blooming monogram project. This DIY tutorial comes from the wonderfully creative people at Lulu's Blog.
For this project, you will need:
-- Hot-glue gun and glue sticks
-- Fake flowers
-- Can of white spray paint
-- Paper mache letter
-- X-Acto knife
You can find all of these items at a craft store.
Cut off the top of the paper mache
Use the X-acto knife to cut off the top of the paper mache letter. Then, use the spray paint to completely cover the letter in paint. You may need to do a few coats to make it completely opaque.
Fill the letter with flowers
Cut off the stems of the fake flowers. Then, use the hot-glue gun to glue the flowers to the the inside of the paper mache letter. Keep gluing until the entire letter is full of flowers. Make sure to use caution when using a hot-glue gun! Allow the glue to dry completely.
Set up the blooming monogram and enjoy!
