Que tal mis amigos! One the card "Ask an Afro-Latina" mis amigas and I were speaking about hair care briefly. Mi amiga @MaricelvaRomero said she was open in trying a product that I have been using for a while. I told her I would do a review on the products that I use.

WHAT HAIR CARE BRANDS DO YOU USE?

Okay Let's Talk Hair...

My hair is a mixture of 2c and 3a, 3b. The best way to find your hair type is when it is wet. Next, my hair can get oily and I'm left with a dry scalp. I have no idea why this happens. I can get bad dandruff. My hair stylist recommended me to wash at least once a week. I do have a history of eczema, so maybe that's why I have a say scalp. I am Afro-Latina so I do have African American blood mixed with Latin blood, so don't get grossed out by washing once a week. Most Black ppl wash their hair usually twice a week depending on their hair. They also add oils to their scalp. Sometimes, I might add oil to my scalp very little and rarely. I just hate doing that cuz it makes my hair super oily and scalp super dirty, but it does relieve me from itching. I was so frustrated until I came across this product called She Moisture African Black Soap. If you want find out what is your hair type check out the above charts and some of these websites below and check out the youtube video. link link
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! 1. Natural organic 2. Kinda Affordable...lol 3. Smell good 4. Good results Now, I bought my products from a local beauty story. However, Target also has the product. Now this is not your cheap stuff. I paid about 11.99 for the shampoo, 10.99 for the masque and regular conditioner, and 14.59 for the elixir. All together it was pricey, but I bought it in stages and a little goes a long way. The cleansing shampoo does just that. It soothes my scalp snd has it squeaky clean. Then the conditioner restores moisture and has my hair looking healthy and feeling soft. I use the masque once and a while for a deep condition. The elixir is good to soothe the scalp.
