Are You Beautiful In Society's Eyes?

Beauty.

One word with a host of meanings. It comes in all shapes, sizes and colors. It's in the eye of the beholder, if only we believed so. It's you. It's me. It's us. While there are so many positives to go with just one word, there are also so many negatives. What some deem beautiful, others do not. It's unfortunate that society has caused us to view something that was originally meant to be universal, as something that is now boxed in to just one small category. If you're not [insert what society deems beautiful here] than you're lacking.
Society has caused us to all be blinded to what true beauty is. Then again, who's to say what makes beauty true or not? If we were all made in the same image, doesn't that make us all masterpieces? At least that's how I view it. The video below will definitely make you think hard about how we've caved in to the pressures of what society and European standards considers 'pretty' or 'beautiful'.

At the end of the day, do we blame ourselves or society?

What did you honestly think about this video?

same here! I've heard that all my life. light skin never equated to better in my eyes. I have so many flaws at the end of the day, but I do love myself to pieces though. I'm glad you enjoyed the video @stephosorio

People all over the world should see this video and love themselves for what they are. My male chat mate sent me msg earlier n told me i have small breasts n he thinks are very unattractive. .i simply answered him that i dont need any man nor anyone else to please but MYSELF...and he agreed lol

Wow! That was rather rude. You responded the correct way though! Men have no filter at all and a lot of time when someone is criticizing you, it comes from a deeper place within them self. You're gorgeous @LisaMarissa
