In our "wait 3 hours before you reply to a text so you don't seem clingy" culture, couples and friends often miss great opportunities to cheer each other up.

Either you don't respond quickly or you wait for the other person to text first - it's so silly!

Well, I'd like to share some times when it is totally okay to be "clingy" and text-happy!

I add "clingy" in quotes because I think people have different definitions :) My "clingy" tolerance level is high^^

1. When you know your friend/significant other is nervous.

Whether they're traveling alone, giving a presentation, having an interview taking a test - whatever it is a simple "you'll be great!" or "you're awesome!" goes a LONG way.

2. When you have a story you know will make them laugh

My friends and I are the QUEENS of the "omg i'll reenact it for you later for the full effect but you will not BELIEVE what I just saw!"

3. When something reminds you of them

It's great to know people are thinking about you when you aren't around. My friends always text me when they see corgis because CORGIS. It brightens my day and will brighten your friends' day too!

And hey, there is NOTHING wrong with a "you're so great!" text just because :3

Are you bad at texting? Ever had a random text make your day?

I agree that society is wayyy too obsessed over seeming clingy so we all follow stupid rules. A random nice text can & has totally made my day! Love your koala gif!
I love random sweet texts, it makes my day every time :)
Aww I love this!! I feel like so many people worry about being clingy that they miss out on being open in conversation! I try to talk to people when I feel like it, instead of worrying if they think I'm clingy or not. then you miss out on sharing funny stories XD
I'm not very good at texting, although whenever I receive them I just respond whenever I can. I don't have like a timeline on my response, same with the other party. One of the reasons why I'm loving my single life is this freedom and not having to worry about these kinds of things.
I love this! and I also love the koala bear gif. I tend to wait for a text to come in before I send one out sometimes, just because I don't want to over do it, but this card def calmed my anxiety texting too much down haha
