This Anime was heaven sent when I first saw it on adult swim years ago. I fell in love instantly especially with my guy Mugen , he was that easy going, I really don't care kind of dude. The story center around 3 character Jin, Mugen and Fuu. Fuu was looking for the Sunflower Samurai and the boys tagged along to protect her on this journey into the unknown.

The full plot

A young woman named Fuu is working as a waitressin a tea shop when she is abused by a band ofsamurai. She is saved by a mysterious rogue named Mugen and a young ronin named Jin. Mugen attacks Jin after he proves to be a worthy opponent. The pair begin fighting one another and inadvertently cause the death of Shibui Tomonoshina, the magistrate's son. For this crime, they are to be executed. With help from Fuu, they are able to escape execution. In return, Fuu asks them to travel with her to find "the samurai who smells of sunflowers."

The Rundown

The episodes of the anime series Samurai Champloowere produced by Manglobe and written and directed by Shinichirō Watanabe. The first episode premiered in Japan on Fuji Television on May 20, 2004 where it ran for 26 episodes until its conclusion on March 19, 2005. The show was so criticality acclaimed that the Anime was dubbed and sent over to the US. I'm glad that it was because that show is completely worth it.

The Winning Side Of Life

Besides having a great show, the soundtrack for it won a lot of awards. Also, the show is on plenty of Anime list that state it should be on you watch before you die. ING has it on the list, it's not number one because that went to Cowboy bebop.
