From the horrors of war to the complexities of childhood, Wayne Miller has captured intimate moments of life on film for over 50 years. Meanwhile a lot of photographers are trying to turn photography into a commercial purpose; Wayne Miller, however, tried to bring out the humanity in his photographs. He did photography for the US Navy during the World War II, and as he defined the word, we went to the war, without knowing who we were fighting, and what we were fighting for. And if we known more each others, there would be less war instead. Beautiful documentary, with beautiful words.
