In light of Chipotle's disastrous year in 2015, due to numerous outbreaks of E. Coli and other grotesque organisms, that sent scores of people to the emergency room, Chipotle is desperate to win back customers with its latest gaming promotion, Guac Hunter.
It's free to play and doesn't require you to download an app or anything like that. (Smart move Chipotle.) Just visit their site and simply click on the Guac Hunter game to play.
You have to play through three rounds of images like this above. In each round you are presented with two nearly identical pictures. Your job is to spot (and click on) the five differences. Seems easy enough, right?
Well, I lost miserably.
But it doesn't matter whether you win or lose, you still get the one-use coupon (that expires in early April).
Here's the catch: You have to provide a working text number. They promise that you won't receive more than three texts. So far, I've only gotten two and they followed each other immediately. In the text you are given an http link which, when you click on it, generates your coupon for free chips and guac!
For those of you who are still squeamish about dining at Chipotle, I've a great solution:
EAT AT BAJA FRESH, WHERE THE CHIPS AND GUAC ARE ALWAYS FREE AND NO ONE EVER GETS SICK!
