Summary: Nanami may be little, but she is far from fragile. She is witty, sassy, and dangerous. She runs her own group of criminals and has been known to love anything and everything shiny, but she will not pay for any of it. She is a thief, and a good one at that. When some of her boys get captured by the police she has to make up her mind to either cancel the heist or find replacements. Just in time, her new neighbors move in and capture her attention with their raw talent. She decides the heist will continue, but how to get the boys to join? Blackmail of course.
Now just to clear this up. The boy's personalities might be a bit different from what they are like in real life, but I do not personally know them and this a FICTION story. Please take this into account as you read. Thank You.

The door was blocked and there was nothing she could do. The moment Nanami opened the door to get to the vent she would be caught. “I could have sworn I heard something over here.” She pushed herself even closer to the wall wishing it would just open up and swallow her whole. She had already gotten everyone else to leave with code green and now all she had to worry about was getting herself out without setting off any alarms or getting caught.
“You were hearing things. I heard nothing and I don’t see anything either.” The other security guard responded.
“What if we are being robbed and we don’t even know it?” The younger voice pipped up again.
“You have been watching too many movies young one. You might need to lay off the coffee too.” The other guard responded clicking his tongue.
Nanami couldn’t help but smirk at the irony. The old man would be rather upset when he finds out that they were actually robbed and he wasn’t any the wiser. She moved to lift the bags of goodies and once again told herself that she really needed to start working on her upper body strength. Diamonds, gold, and gems were pretty and she loved them… but damn did they weigh a lot.
She waited another five minutes hoping that the security would leave to another floor again. She was having a lot of firsts this time around. Not only had she come up to crack the safe alone but she was now completely blind in the building. She didn’t know if one of the security guys was right outside of the room she was in or if there were any on this floor with her.
Nanami smirked and nodded her head. “Now this is an adventure.” Biting her lip as she grew excited thinking about how she was going to have to actually act the part of a thief before hacking was involved made her want to test herself. She creeped up to the door and looked through the plated window. She didn’t see any shadows or flashlights and figured she must be in the clear. With a soft giggle and bright smile, she ventured out into the hallway heading straight for the elevators.
Jin wouldn’t stop pacing the room. Everyone was already wound up tightly enough about having left her and having no way of getting a hold of her, but he was just making things worse. The moment they had walked back into the warehouse, and talked him out of going back for her, he had suggested that they call her cell phone. Levi had only meekly mentioned that Nanami never took her phone with her on a gig because if she was caught then everyone she knew would be on blast in her contacts lists and text messages.
His face didn’t show it but everyone knew he was blaming himself for leaving her. No matter how many times Levi told him that Nanami was smart and was practically raised doing this so he shouldn’t worry, he still refused to believe it. In his mind Nanami had been caught and he was here free as a bird while she was being hauled off to a police station. Why had he agreed to this? Why didn’t he try to stop her from doing it? Would he have been able to talk her out of stealing anymore?
“No you wouldn’t have.” Jin’s head shot up and he looked at Levi hopelessly. “Jin, I told you she will be okay. If there is anyone who could get themselves out of any trouble manageable then it would be Nanami. She didn’t send us away because she knew she was going to be caught. She sent us away so that she didn’t have to worry about YOU being caught while she got out of the sticky situation. If you had stayed she would have ended up worrying about you and would have made a dumb mistake. Just trust her.”
Jin nodded and sat down on the couch. Even if what Levi was saying made sense he still had the feeling of dread gnawing at his gut. Would Nanami be able to come back to him?
One by one the members fell asleep where they sat. They hadn’t wanted to sleep but after such an eventful day the exhaustion had won out. The sky was already turning navy with the signal of the sun rising and no one had yet to hear from Nanami.
Jin sat staring out at the empty greenery surrounding the warehouse. Not one movement in the last five hours. He could see pink peaking from behind the horizon and again he had to fight the nausea that started to overtake him. Had he left her to get caught on her own? Maybe he should have insisted on going in with her instead of waiting outside? He took a deep breath and tried to remind himself that she would have never been able to live with herself if he or any of the other boys had ended up caught.
He looked up at the sky and watched as the sun started to rise.
The sound of feet on the gravel finally made him look down. In the distance he saw a tiny frame carrying two large bags slowly making its way towards him. Without a second thought he jumped up and ran towards her.
“Well hello there Pretty Boy.” She smiled as he pulled her into a tight hug causing her to drop the bags.
“Where the hell have you been? Are you okay? What happened? Did you get caught? You should have never made me leave!” Jin checked Nanami’s face and her arms as if he was expecting her to have another stab wound.
Nanami let out a giggle. “I have been trying to make it back here but these damn bags are very heavy for little me, I am perfectly fine and if you want to do a more thorough check then you can wait until we are inside in bed to check as well as you want, I was surrounded and didn’t want you all to get caught so I told Levi to take you away, and if I was caught do you think I would be standing here? Oh, and of course I made you leave. I would never let you get caught.” She smiled and placed a hand on his cheek. Just this small and simple gesture seemed to calm him a bit and he let out a breath he hadn’t even known he was holding. “I told you to trust me didn’t I?”
He nodded and picked up the bags with one arm. The other he kept protectively around Nanami causing her to giggle. “I’m fine.” She reassured again.
They walked into the warehouse and Nanami was instantly bombarded with questions. It seems that her and Jin hadn’t been quiet enough and everyone had woken up. After explaining over and over again why she sent them away, why it had taken her so long to get back, and enforce the fact that she was not harmed in any way just tired… she was allowed to go lay down. Jin pulled her down into his arms and kissed the top of her head.
“Don’t you ever do that to me again.” She laughed at his demanding tone but didn’t have the energy to fight him. Getting out of the building had proved more difficult that she had imagined and then trying to get back to the warehouse was more than enough excitement for her in one day. She snuggled closer to him and sighed happily. “I don’t want this to end.” His voice was weak and her lip twitched slightly. “I want to ask you to stay, but I know that I shouldn’t. I want to beg you to give up being a thief and just let me take care of you, but I know that you wouldn’t.” He sighed helplessly and Nanami moved to sit on his lap and look down on him.
“Jin.” His breath caught. It wasn’t very often, if ever, that she had used his actual name. “We both know that could never happen. Let’s just enjoy what time we have left ok?” Nanami leaned down and kissed him passionately.
“Nanami, I love you.” Her heart skipped a beat and she bit her lip.
“No you don’t Pretty Boy. You just think you do.” With a smirk she leaned down and kissed him roughly. “Now I think I remember something about a full body search?” She giggled as Jin pulled her back down for another kiss and moved to get on top of her.
“Hyung!” Jin rolled over wanting to ignore Jungkook and just stay in bed with Nanami. “Hyung wake up!” The young man pulled at Jin’s shoulder until he finally opened his eyes to look at him.
“What?” He asked groggily.
“She is gone Hyung! Nanami left!”
Jin reached over to feel the empty and cold half of the bed. He sprang up and looked at the worried Jungkook. “What?” Jumping out of bed he grabbed his clothes and ran down the stairs to the main living area. All of the men stood around looking at a small duffle bag and two different colored notes. The white one on top was addressed to all of the guys from both Levi and Nanami and the pink one underneath just sported one well known nickname ‘Pretty Boy’.
Jungkook grabbed the white note and proceeded to read it aloud to the rest of the group while Jin quietly walked off to read his own note.
I am sorry I didn’t have the courage to wake you up and say good bye, but honestly who would want to wake that adorable sleeping face?
He let out a soft laugh
I know if I had tried to say goodbye to you that you would have asked me to stay, and I just might have done that. So here I am, writing you a letter and hoping you will understand. I wish you and the boys the very best. Make sure you make it big so I can watch you on a TV one day and tell all my little friends that I know that adorable piece of ass, okay? Our time together was short and sweet, just like I promised it would be. We were just a small fling and I hope one day you can have something even better than a nasty thieving girl like me. I won’t forget you Pretty Boy, but I won’t lie and say I hope you don’t forget me. I hope you do, and you better make sure the girl that makes you forget me is cuter than me or my feelings will be hurt okay? Oh! Don’t forget to go through the bag. Levi and I left each of you something a little special that we hope you will enjoy. Goodbye Jin, Live well and be a great idol.
Jin swallowed back his tears and took a deep breath. The other boys looked like they were barely holding it together and if he started to cry they all would. Walking over he opened the bag and handed out different wrapped gifts to the boys. When the others had occupied themselves with opening theirs, Jin went back to sit on the couch and look at his own. He slowly pulled off the wrapping paper and opened the jewelry box. Inside was the large diamond that Nanami had used the night she had blackmailed them. He couldn’t help but laugh as a single tear fell down his cheek. A note fell out of the box and he looked at it. ‘Pretty isn’t it? I love these things.” Jin looked down at his watch then out the window at the blue sky. “It’s my nightmare Cinderella story, and Levi was right. It’s noon and she is already gone, not even a glass slipper left to try and find her with.”
That is all for now. The heist is over and Nanami and Levi have gone poof but the story isn't over. Don't forget about the big bad Ricky and his issues. Do you want the good news or the bad news first??? Hmm? Bad news? Okay, well it maybe a few days before I post the next chapter to this story because I do have a few other works I need to show some TLC. The good news? Well thanks to some persuasion from @Jinnyrod3 I have started to cook up a second story painted around our dear Nanami. It will take place after this story and I might take a break and write another story before I start it up but I am definitely thinking about it. Nanami is just too lovable a character to just completely forget about.
Anyways as always thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed it!!
** Side note.. it is late... I am tired... and I may have a few typos... don't judge just enjoy :D
