Hey photographers!

I thought it might be fun to chat about our first cameras- the ones that introduced us to photography and sparked our interest in the art form! My dad had a Canon AE-1, which he let me borrow to take pictures on a trip one summer. I loved it! Ended up using it during the school year a bunch, I'd drop off the film to get developed on the way home at least once a week. I've been feeling kind of nostalgic lately, maybe it's because I don't have as much time for my hobbies as I used to.

What camera started it all for you?

Sony Nex 6, 16-50mm kit lens and a plethora of Cannon FD lenses, still rocking it. Time for an upgrade.
Nikon D5200 with 18mm-55mm & 70mm-300 with macro.
My first camera was actually on loan from high school. It wasn't technically mine, but it felt like it since I borrowed it for 2 years lol. I can't remember the exact model, but it was a Nikon and it was film SLR.
my first camera is my mobile only
my 1st camera was fujifilim
