This series pivots around a hapkido teacher Jang Man-ok (Hwang Jung Eum) becoming a stylist of top idol group TAKE ONE, composed of the perfectionist Lee Tae Ik (No Min Woo) and a free yet kind guy named Won Kang Hwi (Park Ki Woong) and getting into a romantic relationship with them. Tae Ik became an idol in order to gain back the house "Full House" where he had lived with his late parents. Can Tae Ik regain "Full House"? And what about these three's future in love...?
EPISODES: 16 (32 parts)
Lee Tae Ik (No Min Woo)
I love No Min Woo and his character in this drama is the complete opposite that I've seen him play in the other 2 dramas I watched him in. This time he plays a snobby pop singer. He is really funny, allergic to anything with fur and his clothing must be 100% pure or he can't wear it because he will start sneezing and possibly pass out from having an allergic reaction. In the beginning, he is a cold hearted person who just plans to sing and buy back his "Full House" until he meets Jang Man OK and realizes she's important to him just like the "Full House". He is so cute, I love his hair curly and he's so tall and I love his voice. He reminds me of a cat and he's got a nice body.
P.S. I also got my mom to watch this drama with me and she doesn't watch Asian shows but she saw that it was on Netflix and told me she might watch it with me and ended up watching it with me. I asked her when we finished the show "if you could rate it from 1 to 10, what would you rate it? She said, 9. She liked!" (MOM APPROVED!) She liked Kang Hwi better, saying that Tae Ik looks like a girl...
2nd Male Lead:
Won Kang Hwi (Park Ki Woong)
He is a very bright, outgoing and sweet guy. He cares for others deeply, and falls for Man OK before Tae Ik but it didn't matter because she already fell for Tae Ik and he knew it. He always stays positive as if nothings wrong. He loves to dance and sing but is afraid of what might happen to him in the future... You'll have to watch the drama to find out what I'm talking about. He has a sad past. (He didn't give me 2nd lead syndrome but did make me tear up)
So I tried watching the 1st "Full House" a long time ago but got up to about episode 12 and never finished it because I lost interest and it felt like the story was going nowhere but then I read what this story was about and it sounded way more interesting. I fell in love with the storyline for this one, it was actually completely different from the 1st one. I loved that the story dealt with the struggles of being a kpop idol and life struggles as well. It's not easy getting what you want. They delve deep into the past with some things and kept me interested. The two main leads (Tae Ik and Jang Man) met when they were younger. I really like that this drama didn't have an angry and rich mother in it like most dramas do because they are annoying but it did have a snob of a first love.
Lee Tae Ik and Jang Man OK! ^-^
So cute, I ship them. The way Tae Ik looks at Man OK is so adorable, I want that. They have so many cute moments together and make me squeal, even my mom went aww when they kissed for the first time, I was like "Yes, mom get absorbed into the k-drama world!" XD
Sad Touch - No Min Woo
I liked the original Touch song but when I heard Sad Touch, I fell in love with it. It sounds so pretty when played on the piano and sang slowly with No Min Woo's beautiful voice. The video has three songs from the drama, the clip is from the last episode of the drama. Sad Touch plays at 1:50.
The storyline got me from episode 1, it didn't get boring and kept my interest. I love dramas that show how real k-pop idols live and the struggles they deal with all the time. It has strong humor, it was really funny. Especially Man OK and Tae Ik, they made me laugh the most. A very comical relationship. The characters are well developed, frankly speaking Tae Ik develops the most. Mostly likable characters except for two of them but the two are gone by the end of the drama thankfully. Everyone gets a happy ending that deserves it. This drama is a kind of drama that you want to binge watch. My mom and I finished it in 3 days which is a surprise because I thought she would've complained that she didn't want to watch anymore but she didn't and she liked it. It has a strong romance between the main leads, strong actors and plot.
9/10 - I loved this so much! If you love romance, kpop, comedy and drama then this is definitely one to watch. It's really good and has an amazing soundtrack.
Have you watched "Full House Take 2", did you like it?
