RG III has finally found a new home and fresh start.
RG III signed with the Cleveland Browns yesterday. "This isn't about me, to be honest with you. I just want to go out and help this team win football games," Griffin said when asked during a conference call how important it was for him to get his career back on track. "I believe in what Coach Hue is preaching. I believe in Pep Hamilton and what they plan to do.
The Browns are a franchise they have been in limbo for the past decade. Does RG III finally put this team in position to compete now that they have a solid quarterback at the helm?
As a rookie, RG III guided the Redskins to an NFC East title and was named the offensive rookie of the year after setting an NFL record for rookies with a 102.4 passer rating.
His days in Washington was also riddled with injury woes, as Griffin partially tore the posterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in December of that season and then tore the ACL in the same knee in a playoff loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
A new coach was bought in and he also struggled with getting on the same page with the new offensive direction of the team. They opted to go with Kirk Cousins, but it's clear that Griffin has talent. The question is: Will the Browns install an offense that not only protects RG III but gets the most out of him offensively?

Can RG III recapture his rookie magic?

Not with Cleveland, the browns will always suck even when the pieces are all there
