So I didn't think I'd ever pay $20 for a movie ticket. But today, I've made history of my own. I baught a ticket to Hardcore Henry in my local theater (in Providence, Rhode Island) and although I am getting my tax refund this week, I still hurt my wallet. That doesn't mean I'm not ok with my purchase. I am more than satisfied with it to be honest. MOVIE DESCRIPTION: A man wakes up in a Moscow laboratory to learn that he's been brought back from the dead as a half-human, half-robotic hybrid. With no memory of his former life, a woman who claims to be his wife tells him that his name is Henry. Before she can activate his voice, armed thugs storm in and kidnap her. As Henry starts to understand his new abilities, he embarks on a bloody rampage through the city to save his spouse from a psychopath (Danila Kozlovsky) who plans to destroy the world.
I get to watch Hardcore (freaking) Henry for crying out loud!! I've followed the making of the film for 3 years now and I can't wait to finally watch it. I mean yeah ok I only followed it because of Akan (Danila Kozlovsky) but that doesn't change the fact that it's going to be an amazing movie all together! Its the first action film that is about 10% cgi (to make the impact of some of the explosions a bit more intense), and practically 90% all real stunts! It took 3 years to do that and is 1st person point of view. Imagine what we could to in the future because of this movie!? *I'm sorry but like seriously, Danila fits the role of Akan so well!!*
Back to why I spent $20 on a ticket for myself and will (at the end of this week) spend another $20 for another ticket for my friend.... DANILA KOZLOVSKY! My all time favorite Russian actor. He started off on stage and moved his way to the big screen! Even though he was on his way to being in the military, acting took hold of him and I'm sure as heck glad it did!
He's damn good looking too! A gentleman and he knows how to have fun! But seriously, he's a good singer and like Frank Sinatra too.
And then there's my confirmation.... oh man what am I doing?
