Dear Daughter: Women Give Advice To Their Future Daughters
Dear Daughter,
'Life for me ain't been no crystal stair', but I'm hoping it will be for you. Know that your self-worth is not measured by the size of your pants or 'if you woke up like this' because at the end of the day, you're fearfully and wonderfully made no matter what a man thinks. Realize that this is your life and although I may persuade you to walk a certain path, the choice is yours. I was once in your shoes and I know how challenging growing up as a woman can be, but believe me -- it's so worth it.
Know that you never have to chase a man and if you find yourself doing so, realize that he is not the man for you. You're the catch, let him chase and pursue you. You can achieve anything and everything you put your mind to. Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes so whether you're a size 2 or a size 22, love yourself. You're a phenomenal woman and trust me when I say, it gets better.

With love always,

your mother.
Disclaimer: after checking out the video below I felt compelled to write a letter to my future daughter. check out the video below and I challenge you all to do the same.

What would you tell your daughter or future daughter if you had the opportunity to do so?

I challenge you all to write a brief letter to your daughter, or if you choose to so you can write a quick sentence in the comment box below.

Oh man this is tough. I really liked the girl that said something about not worrying about the things you can control. I feel that way, you know? I think I'll tell my daughter to work her do her best, but know when she can and can't control things.

I think that's always the best advice you can give & the fact that none of us are perfect at the end of the day @nicolejb
