Breastfeeding is a touchy subject for many parents.
Should parents breastfeed their children? If so, when is an appropriate age to stop? So many questions and grey area have led many to steer clear of the issue.
While many have avoided the topic, music superstar Adele sounded off on the breastfeeding question and the pressure surrounding it during a concert at London’s 02 Arena.
The famous mom said that she enjoyed using baby formula but the pressure to breastfeed left her feeling inadequate when she wasn’t physically able to do it.
“I mean, I loved [using baby formula],” she said. “All I wanted to do was breastfeed and then I couldn’t and then I felt like, ‘if I was in the jungle now back in the day, my kid would be dead because my milk’s gone.'”
“It’s f*cking ridiculous, and all those people who put pressure on us, you can go f*ck yourselves, alright?” she said. “Because it’s hard. Some of us can’t do it. I managed about nine weeks with my boobs.”
So it seems as if Adele is for breastfeeding. With that being said, don't worry if your body can't produce enough milk to partake in the matter, some things are out of your hands.

Whooooo go Adele!
That's exactly what formula was made for! There's nothing to be ashamed of
@shannonl5 soooo true, but she's right. The pressure that people assume they're allowed to put on you over this decision is astronomically ridiculous!! It's insane on both sides of the argument, really. Suddenly people throw freedom out the window and they "know" everything about you, your body, and your life: You obviously aren't doing it right or trying hard enough, you have other options or you aren't putting baby first. It can be suffocating and practically destroy that entire bonding experience between mother and child for some new moms. It's sad. :(
im fine with that stuff as long as the woman is smexy XD LOL JK
