For people who were teenagers in the 90's some of the classic actresses on television you thought about were Jennifer Love Hewitt or Alyssa Milano. While those were big time ladies on the screen, one that always falls through the cracks is Melissa Joan Hart.
No, she wasn't the next Julia Roberts or Sandra Bullock, but she was a huge success on numerous television shows during that era. Some people are lucky to get one good show, but she had two with Clarissa Explains It All and Sabrina The Teenage Witch. While many wouldn't list her as the greatest of all-time, both of those shows were awesome, and would they have been the same without her?
For those people who loved those shows, Melissa shocked the world by sharing news that both of these shows could be for a re-boot soon!
Melissa Joan Hart stopped by FABLife on Monday and made all ’90s kids’ hearts flutter by mentioning a possible reboot of the shows.
“I am going to a meeting after this. They’re throwing around Clarissa and Sabrina ideas.”
Melissa said there is a lot of red tape that must be cut through before this deal is cemented though.
“It depends on who’s gonna give up rights, who’s gonna do it, how’s it going to be done. It’s a lot of politics and we are nowhere near doing anything.”

Which show would you rather see remade if you could only choose one: Clarissa Explains It All or Sabrina The Teenage Witch?

@christianmordi @VeronicaArtino A new Salute Your Shorts would be amaazzzzing!!
Pete and Pete and salute your shorts the memories
With that being said, I think with the right directors it could be a success. I would love to see a remake of that or Pete and Pete or Salute your Shorts
I feel like Sabrina would be ten times more successful than a reboot of Clarissa. What made Clarissa so great was she was just like, the voice of young girls in the 90s. Her little brother was way annoying. Her outfits were always funky. And her BFF Sam was like.. the mushroom haircut, flannel-wearing cute guy we all had crushes on in school at the time. It would lose a bulk of what it represented if they brought it back today.
@TurtleyTurtles Ferguson was one of my favs. he did the annoying brother part perfectly.
