3 Smoothie Recipes Guaranteed To Brighten Your Skin

Spring is here and beautiful skin is the goal.

While topical treatment works for most, treating your body from the inside out works just as good -- if not better. Sometimes those breakouts that randomly appear on your face are caused by that pizza and chips you consumed at midnight that one night you couldn't fall asleep. They say, 'you are what you eat'. So, technically, if you eat junk -- your face will appear as so.
Here's the kicker, it doesn't have to. Glowing and healthy skin can be achieved with just a few fruits, vegetables and a blender. No, literally. Smoothies can help you get that flawless complexion you've been spending thousands of dollars to achieve. If you're interested in glowing and doing it the natural way, keep scrolling and check out the smoothie recipes below.

$265 La Prairie Foundation Review
What..? $265 Foundation? Are you kidding me !! Hahaha .. I guess La Prairie is considered as one of the best skincare brand. Alright.. so we want to know if it is really worth the price! Let's see. She's putting it on.. oh and it actually looks quite thick she's holding the stick but it won't drip off the stick :) hmm guessing it may be matte? Ohhh she said it's got a full coverage and it's very radiant, saying that she probably put too much on... She's a bit surprised on how white she looks on her camera haha. If anyone is planning on getting this one, choose one color darker because it seems it has whiter color than what it actually looks like on the bottle.. she loves the natural look on her face! :) I see it too. I like it too. Now she's going to put on the concealer that is at the top of the bottle. If I... get a chance to purchase this item (which I don't really think so..?), I think it's better to use small amount because she kept saying she has put too much on her face even though it doesnt really look like she put a lot on her face. yeah she's done with the base - drawing her eye brows now. Looks gorgeous. She really loves the texture but worried that it might get oily later on. This picture was taken at 1pm, when she just applied the foundation on. It's been 3 hours since she applied it, and I think it still looks okay. 10 hours later.. no cracks or anything :) whoa.. yeah maybe it's worth the price haha. Anyone planning on getting this product!? full video
Best cleansing oils & cleansing waters for sensitive skin
Hello! This is mikayla. I only used cleansing oils and waters to remove makeup - so today, I'm going to show you my favorite types of oils and waters! :) I am prone to acnes and I do have many breakouts due to sensitive skin type :'(!! My skin type is sensitive, but I would say it's combination of both oily and dry skin (lol I know my skin type is very complexed!). So people with sensitive skin type as me, follow along! 1. Bielenda Rose Oil for Sensitive Skin I actually love this product! This is one of the best cleansing oils I've ever used. Its scent is wonderful and it's oil to milk formula. It easily erases every part of your makeup. I highly recommend this item :p Oh and also, I got this at ROSS so yeah, it was cheap. I think it was around $6-7. 2. Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water (for sensitive skin) This one is also one of my favorite! This is perfect for sensitive skin types because it's "water" type. I heard from my dermatologist that using oil is not a good way for removing makeup especially for those people with sensitive skin types! It's affordable, it's every where (Ralphs, CVS, Walgreens, etc) 3. Lancome Bi-facil Non-oily cleanser I personally recommend this item (even tho this product is sorta pricy...haha). It's because I hated the greasy texture the cleansing water has. Sometimes it feels like I have oils on top of my face after removing the makeup. So! I recommend this item for a non-oily product. 4. Neutrogena oil-free eye makeup remover Well, they call this oil-free but I don't understand why.... it's literally splited in to water and oil when I purchased this item lol. But! the price is nice and it really does erase well :) So I recommend this product. It gets a bit oily, so you definitely have to cleanse once more though.

Lash Extensions vs Lash Lift?
I am struggling to pick which procedure I should do this month. I've always had thin eyelashes and need a boost every now and then to get my lashes to look full and thicker. For those not aware about these procedures; Eyelash extensions involve gluing or bonding individual fake lashes to your natural  lashes to make them look physically fuller and longer. On the other hand, a lash lift involves giving your natural eyelashes a perm procedure(kinda like one you would do on your hair) to make them appear longer and fuller. So, the lash lifts give an enhanced look to your natural lashes while the eyelash extensions can be used for a rather dramatic effect. Eyelash extentions: Pro: They give the most dramatic look to your eyes and are perfect for going out makeup. You never have to wear mascara. Con: If not properly applied by a professional, they would have to be taken out and in doing so may harm your natural lashes. Lash lift: Pro: They look absolutely natural as compared to the extensions. Because they are your lashes. Can last up to 12 weeks. Con: If your lashes are too short then you can't get lash lift as they won't come out long enough. So before choosing it is important to know what type of look you want to attain. If you want a dramatic look, go for the extensions . If you want natural look then lash lift would be more suitable. Furthermore, if you have short lashes, then you can only do lash extensions. I think I will be going with lash extensions this month.
[Week 1] Monday & Friday - Rest Day Recipes (Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie)
You've got to love a training plan that starts off with a rest day! Since Tuesday will be my first long distance run, I want to make great post-run meals ahead of time since I'll probably be too tired once I get home. I'll be making a Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie since it has complex carbs AND protein. Plus its chocolate peanut butter...hello! Here’s the protein breakdown of my new favorite smoothie: 6 oz greek yogurt → 18 grams 3/4 cup skim milk → 6 grams 1 Tablespoon natural peanut butter → 4 grams The yogurt adds a ton of protein to the shake and should be pretty easy on your stomach, which can be sensitive after a run. Here's the recipe, enjoy! Ingredients: 1 large banana, peeled, sliced, and frozen 3 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder 6 oz Chobani 0% Greek Yogurt (or 2%, flavored or unflavored) 3/4 cup skim milk (or your favorite kind of nondairy or dairy milk) 1 Tablespoon honey, maple syrup, or agave 1 Tablespoon peanut butter (any kind you like) Directions: Put all of the ingredients into the blender, in the order listed, and blend on high until thick and smooth. I would start with only 2 Tablespoons of cocoa powder, blend, and then add 1 more for a stronger chocolate taste. You may need to stop and stir/scrape down the sides of the blender a few times. Drizzle glass with 1 teaspoon of chocolate syrup (optional) and enjoy! If you prefer a less sweet smoothie, you may leave out the honey. Add more peanut butter for a stronger peanut butter taste. Add more milk to make the smoothie thinner, if desired. Add 1 cup of your favorite greens for added nutrition.
