Hey guys, back with more baseball news to help everyone prepare for the year!
The AL Central boast the winner of the World Series, but will that be the case again this year? The White Sox and Tigers were big spenders this off-season.

Were their additions enough to dethrone the Royals as the best team in the AL Central?

The Tigers made a couple solid moves this off-season, in particular adding Justin Upton to the order. This will force teams to pitch more at Cabrera and Kinsler, which will make this offense more dynamic. They also added Jordan Zimmerman to help offset the loss of Max Scherzer a couple years ago. I'm not sure if that is enough though in regards to the pitching staff. They made need to add another ace at the deadline to make a push.
The Twins are in the midst of a rebuild. The outfield is set. They have a rising star in right field in Sano. The pitching is the issue. Their ace had a 4.40 ERA last year. They need to find arms and fast.
The Indians have nice team balance. I really like Kluber as their ace. They have a bunch of guys that throw hard. On offense, they have a bunch of guys who can spray singles and apply pressure with base running. With that being said, this team is still a couple pieces away from being able to turn the corner.
The White Sox look like they are ready to turn the corner. Last year was a letdown, and they are doing everything in their power to put a better product on the field. The team added Todd Frazier this off-season, who should be a nice bat in the heart of the order. Chris Sale is one of the best arms in baseball, but is that enough? This is another team who will need to add an arm at the deadline. I doubt they will give young pieces though, so they will spend via free agency next year.
The Royals are the champs and won't be dethroned in the AL Central this year. They play baseball the right way and play at a high level everyday. Lorenzo Cain and Eric Hosmer are two of the best players in baseball no one talks about. They don't care though, as the only thing on their mind is going back to back this year.
Who do you think will win the AL Central?
