How To Be A Morning Person When Sleep Is Your Life

Good Morning to you, the birds are chirping.

Once it's all said and done, it's time to end yet another weekend and prepare for the week ahead. While the majority of us dread the idea of Monday, we dread the idea of mornings even more. After an amazing nights sleep, your alarm goes off and although you got the recommended amount of sleep -- you're still tired. You hit the snooze button, but we all know that never actually helps. It's time to face the facts, you're simply not a morning person.
No matter how hard you try, the idea of waking up before noon is repulsive to you. You much rather sleep the day away and stay up late -- and then you wonder why you're not a morning person. As terrible as early mornings sound, they actually aren't as bad as they seem. They say, 'the early bird catches the worm' and it's true. Having the ability to wake up early, allows you to not only accomplish more -- but it also allows you to have a more positive day. If you're the furthest from a morning person, keep scrolling to check out the tips below that will have you hopping out the bed and turning your swag on long before the sun rises.

Go To Sleep At A Decent Time

If you go to sleep at a decent time, you will wake up at a decent time. It's all about training your body and making it a habit.

Drink Tea Instead Of Coffee

While coffee gives you energy in the moment, once that energy wears off -- it quickly turns into fatigue and you wonder why you're sluggish by the end of the day. Drinking green tea will give you the same effects as coffee, just with more positive benefits.

Take A Shower In The Morning

A lot of people like to take their shower at night to save time in the morning, but believe me taking a shower in the morning will give you that boost of energy you need. Everyone knows that a shower wakes you up. You might as well take one at night and one in the morning, why not?

Leave Your Phone In Another Room To Charge

Having your phone laid up under you at night is a huge distraction and a major foul on play. In a world full of social media, we all know that we will fall for the trap and will never fall asleep. Leaving your phone to charge in a separate room or away from arms reach will help you focus on sleep and not who's tweeting at midnight.

Are you a morning person?

What do you do to wake yourself up in the morning?
