While the 76ers don't have much to celebrate this year, all time great Allen Iverson and the NBA have some awesome news to share.

It was announced early today that the Philly great will be inducted into the NBA Hall of fame!

For his career, Iverson averaged 26.7 points, 6.2 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 2.2 steals.
He averaged at least 30 points in three seasons, including 31.1 points in 2000-2001, the season he was named MVP. He led the league in steals (2.5) and attempted 10.1 free throws per game that season.
What doesn't show up on the stat sheet is his heart and impact on the culture of basketball. AI is probably the most impactful basketball player of his era not named Kobe or MJ. His sneakers kept Reebok on the map. The passion and effort he played with every game is undeniable.
