More and more people are choosing not to parent.
According to the US Census, 47.66% of women ages 15-44 are childless (via). And that's not a bad thing! There are painfully few resources for new parents in the states. Kids are a huge investment, not just financially but emotionally. Some people can't physically bear children because of a disability or illness. Others simply don't want kids.
There are plenty of reasons to go child-free!
