As part of her campaign, Clinton spoke outside of Yankee Stadium and rode the train in the Bronx on Thursday morning. She was accompanied by Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr.
While many New Yorkers are happy to see her embrace one of the travel staples that many New Yorkers deal with on a daily basis, I'm confused on how this helps the campaign.
Will she help deal with the many issues the Subway deals with in NYC on a regular basis? I don't know. Was this just a political appearance in an attempt to make her seem relate able to the "everyday" person? I don't know.
What do you think Vinglers: Good or bad cameo for Clinton?
I believe it was just politically motivated to achieve the purpose of looking like she is capable of doing the mass transit thing. When in reality she is all about being driven by a private driver.
Definitely staged political appearance. She'll probs never ever take the subway after today.
@GingerMJones true, though I think that's probably true for every candidate at this point
As someone who used to commute two hours in rush our 5 days a week... I'm not impressed. I get it, it's a gesture. I'd be far more interested in seeing the two of them debate again
