Que tal peeps!

So for those who know me, yall know I love makeup. I can come across as a makeup snob since I take it seriously. So I did buy some products a few weeks ago. One of the items I purchased was Matchmaster Shade Intelligence Compact by MAC. Side note I've been loving this makeup. I apply it with the cushion that comes with and blend with my elf blending brush. It is flawless yall.... Anyways, I go up to the clerk and was like "do you have any cushion foundations?" She was like "what's that?" She has a nasty look in her face. I was like "you never heard of cushion foundations?" She was like "no I've been working in the makeup industry for years and never heard of that term."

By know I have my wtf look on my face. I was shocked how can you be into makeup and never heard of cushion foundation. Itch ya lying lol.

So I was like well "I don't remember the exact name, so my bad. However, it's just like the L'Orรฉal cushion foundation." She said "I have no idea what's L'Orรฉal. Is the a cheap brand of makeup?" So her coworker who was standing by hearing this conversation and was like "she's talking about the Matchmaker line. That's a cushion foundation. I knew exactly what she was talking about when she came in." Long story short I got my stuff. But how can you not know what cushion foundation is and work with makeup for however years. Imma need MAC to give their ppl a makeup terminology update training class. smh. I JUST FEEL IF MAKEUP IS YOUR CAREER CHOICE YOU NEED TO BE DIVERSE IN YOUR AREA.

Ahahahahaha ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ same tho ( the other person I'm not that interested into makeup but I have to start๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜) @Sunnydaebak
I had a girl at ulta give me sass about saying that I wasn't interested in a particular brand because I didn't think it was cruelty free (her argument was that another product I mentioned earlier is made with snail secretion....valid but I was there to replace that product). anyways, people at counters like that need to know what they're talking about but also know what kinds of things aren't where they should give their opinions!
Well I hope next time you don't encounter rudeness while you are there! Lol
@jordanhamilton lol. Sephora I do go to mostly but for foundation and powders they never have my exact shade. SO I suck it up and go to MAC.
I've had a similar experience, I can't exactly remember what it was though. I've noticed over the years a lot of workers at MAC can be a bit rude. that's why I'm always in Sephora these days, well that's one of the reasons. but yeah it sounds like the lady who was assisting you was doing the most. I would've said 'nvm' and went to ask someone else in the store, I don't do the best with disrespect, so I would've had to walk away. you're better than me lol
