I'm going to be honest with you. I had no idea that Beavis and Butthead had an arcade game. And I don't know if you'll believe me when I say this since we're on the Internet and it's so easy to lie (cue Buster from Arthur .gif now) but I loved Beavis and Butthead growing up.
It was the one show that my parents said I couldn't watch so, of course, I tried to watch it. And it even go to the point where all of my cousins bought me different volumes of the show on Digital Versatile Disc every year for Christmas.
So when I saw a video of someone playing the arcade game I never heard about, I had to watch it. But I could only stand it for about 2 minutes (it's a 20 minute long video) because of all of that ridiculous flashing that happens when you record a television screen.
So if you have problems with flashing lights you SHOULDN'T watch this video. It got to the point where I got a little motion sick just seeing it happen every couple of seconds. But, it's still cool to me that someone out there in the world has this arcade cabinet and a piece of weird video game history.
Although, I won't say that I've never heard of a Beavis and Butthead game ever existing.
There was one (I found a screenshot above) that was more of a point-and-click adventure game where you went around doing Beavis and Butthead-y stuff. But the only thing I could remember from that game is standing on the roof of the high school and spitting loogies onto people who passed by.
I don't know why I thought this was so great when I was kid because it's a pretty crappy thing to do to another person but whatever, right?
I remember I even tried it once but I got yelled at immediately by the person I spit on and by my parents so I never climbed up another roof again. Well, actually that's a lie. I've been on the roof of a bunch buildings but never to spit on people's heads. It was kind of a traumatic experience for me.
But if any of you know what game that is where you spit on people, let me know because I totally want to play it again.
