This weekend has been full of home runs...not just by Trevor Story, but also a couple from the best pitchers in the league.
The first one comes from Madison Bumgarner of the San Francisco Giants.
During their four-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers at AT&T Park, the two aces of the team, Bumgarner and Kershaw, faced each other. The game ended 3-2 with a Dodgers win. But that didn't stop MadBum showing off some batting skills.
Bumgarner hit a monster one over the left field wall. And Bumgarner is the only pitcher to have homered off Clayton Kershaw.
And he's done it twice his career.
And Jake Arrieta of the Chicago Cubs also hit another monster two-run homer. No, I'm not exaggerating.
According to StatCast, it was recorded at 440 feet.
No wonder why fans don't want to see the National League instill the DH rule.
